BALANCED PLAY INITIATIVE

If Team A is down by six points, after the winning Team B has scored a goal to put them up by six and prior to restart,  the referee will then advise Team A that they may add one additional player on the field until the score is within 4 points. Once Team A is within 4 points then the referee will advise the coach of Team A to remove the extra player after the goal is scored that put Team A down by 4 points and prior to restart.
